Jacob Wallström, from Ghost Park Software, has officially announced yesterday the release of Ghost Action, which is available for purchase for US$19.95. In case your wondered, because of the name, the company and the software do not come from Scotland, but from Stockholm, Sweden!
I expected this release, thanks to Takaaki Kato, the Samurai Coder, who had given me the heads up a few days ago. Oyvind Solstad has just posted about it this morning at Brilliant Days and comments that “The race for the best Mac GTD app is still on!”. Ghost Action will indeed be a prime contender in this game!
I have invested a lot of time and energy in ThinkingRock and have no intention to switch app on a whim. I shall however in the coming weeks, very seriously test Ghost Action. My first impression would be to place it directly to the top two GTD app for Mac OSX. One day, the much hyped Omnifocus will also presumably perhaps finally come along and join this race.
Of special interest to GTD bloggers, will be the scheme offering a Free license for bloggers, which Jacob explains as “a way for a small company like mine to do it’s marketing“. To dissipate any mishanderstanding, he stresses: “You don’t have to write favorably about Ghost Action, just write what you think”!

Ghost Action is SOOOOOOOO easy to use. I can’t imagine a better expression of the GTD concept.
