The catch of the week, when it comes to GTD apps, is FusionDesk. I have come accross it through a post on Serge’s living-in-california.com blog, which also points to a very useful Listible list on GTD software, which as of todays provides 59 relevant resources.
According to the blurb, FusionDesk is a “project management and time tracking software for individuals and small teams. Its power is well disguised behind a simple and elegant user interface. Its flexibility allows it to adapt to your way of doing things, instead of forcing you to adapt.” This application for Windows, with an unsually cool UI for a non-mac app., commes in two versions.
The Starter Edition, costing US$ 39.95, is presented as the entry-level offer. It allows still according to the blurb to:
- Create, edit, and organize your tasks with ease.
- Intuitive and elegant interface
- Organize tasks in hierarchical folders
- Flexible: conforms to different needs
- Designed for GTD (Getting Things Done)
- Full Copy/Paste and unlimited Undo/Redo
- Categorize: By Tag or By Context
- Customizable user interface + color themes
- Archive completed tasks
- Different view types
There is also a Professional edition, costing US$ 89.95, presented as suited “Lightweight project management for individuals and small teams”.

I see an article about fusiondesk, but you pointed me here because of the mindmap GTD templates. Tried to find it at other places in your blog, but no such luck. Is it possible to make them available again?
Sorry about this! The correct link should be http://pascalvenier.com/1.zip
